I would like to extend a very warm welcome to the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Central Bank Research Association.;
We have received a record breaking number of 1081 paper submissions this year, and are very proud to be able to offer such a high quality program.
Founded in 2015 our Association has been going from strength to strength, and we will continue our mission to:
- Promote policy-relevant research
- Make research more policy relevant
- Foster global interaction between central bank and academic researchers
We would like to thank our co-organizers: the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University (SIPA) and the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research “Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe (SAFE) for their excellent support.
A big thank you also to our Scientific Committee for their tremendous efforts in securing high level panelists, speakers and their invaluable input in general:
Linda Goldberg (Federal Reserve Bank of New York)
Patricia Mosser (Columbia SIPA)
Loriana Pelizzon (Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE)
Raphael Schoenle (Brandeis University and CEBRA).
As convenient as virtual meetings are, they have also led us to truly value and understand the importance of connecting with others face-to-face.
The aim with our in-person event is to create a unique, open and collaborative atmosphere which allows our delegates to communicate, network, listen, learn, and most importantly enjoy!
Raphael Auer, President of the Central Bank Research Association (CEBRA) 2023
